Extreme Makeover is a community-based program that provides individualized makeovers for people with cancer to help them cope with the aftermath of cancer treatments and how it effects their appearance and self-esteem. It is also for those who are going through other life-altering events/illnesses. The program includes but is not limited to: hair (wigs & extensions), makeup/cosmetics, manicures/pedicures (nail care) and new clothing along with spiritual and mental motivation. We also provide training sessions, chemo care boxes and workshops as needed to ensure the recipients feel confident way beyond the makeovers.
We also provide support in the form of cancer support boxes that are custom made for the individual served. If you opt out of a makeover and need general support during your journey, please complete the form and indicate your specific needs. |
